AS A MAVERICK: Three-year letterwinner served as one of MSU's captains in 2011-12.
2011-12: Scored twice as Minnesota State downed visiting Alabama-Huntsville (Dec. 10, 2012)...Had two goals and an assist in 5-2 win at Bemidji State Jan. 28, 2012...Tied for fifth on MSU's scoring charts with 8-11--19 in 36 games...Totalled 25-36--61 in 98 games in two and half years with the Mavericks...
2010-11: Finished second on team scoring charts with 12-14--26 on the season...Totalled 8-8--16 in the last 20 games of the year... Led MSU in goals (12) and game-winning goals (3)..Tied for the team lead in power play goals (4) and 129 shots ranked second...For his contributions to MSU’s title run at the Shillelagh Tournament Dorr was named InsideCollegeHockey.com National Player of the Week and Offensive Player of the Week by the WCHA. Totalled 3-2--5 in MSU’s wins over Notre Dame and Brown at the tourney...Also named WCHA Offensive Player of the Week after MSU’s series at St. Cloud State Jan. 28-29 (2-3--5 in a win and a tie).
2009-10: Totalled 5-11--16 in 22 games since becoming eligible Dec. 12th after transferring to MSU from the University of Minnesota... Had 0-5--5 in the last six games of the 2009-10 campaign in finishing eighth on MSU’s scoring charts...First goal as a Maverick came on Dec. 12 when he totalled two points on a goal and an assist in 3-2 nonconference road victory at Bemidji State. His goal vs. the Beavers was also his first career GWG...Scored twice in 4-3 league home win over Alaska Anchorage Feb. 20...Had two assists in 4-2 home win over St. Cloud State March 5.
THE DORR FILE: Transferred to MSU from the University of Minnesota...Got into two games with the Gophers in 2008-09 and did not record any points...Played parts of three seasons with Des Moines of the United States Hockey League...Missed the first half of the 2007-08 season with an injury, but still finished third on the team in scoring with 10-22--32 over the final 34 games...Played with Des Moines before and after the high school season in 2006-07, totaling seven goals and nine assists over 26 games...Appeared in eight playoff games in 2006-07 and finished with two goals and an assist...Finalist for 2007 Minnesota Mr. Hockey Award following senior season at Roseville High School...Named Minneapolis Star-Tribune Metro Player of the Year in 2007...All-state selection in 2004-05 and 2006-07...Named honorable mention all-state in 2004-05 and 2005-06...Played the final 11 games of the 2005-06 regular season with Des Moines..Team captured Clark Cup championship in 2005-06, but did not appear in any playoff games...Helped high school team earn Suburban East conference title...Participated in select under-17 national festival in 2005....Sister, Franny, is a forward with the women’s hockey program at Bemidji State.
