Biography

As a Maverick:  Two-time alternate captain (2020-21 and 2021-22)...2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 letterwinner...8-44--52 in 174 career games...Ranks second all-time at Minnesota State with 174 career games played...+104 and 190 blocked shots for college career.

2021-22:   Named to Frozen Four All-Tournament Team...2-15--17 with +36 rating and 52 blocked shots and played in all 44 games....Scored OT GWG in 2-1 win over Bemidji State March 19 in CCHA Championship game...Achieved career season-highs for assists (15), points (17) and blocked shots (52).
..2021-22 team Unsung Player Award recipient.

2020-21:  Registered 1-5--6 in 27 games played on the season...+12 (t-fifth), with 41 blocked shots (second on team) and 37 shots on goal...2020-21 WCHA All-Academic.

2019-20:
 Had 4-9--13 with and saw action in all 38 games as a junior...Tied for second on the team with +21 rating and ranked third with 41 blocked shots...Assisted on Nathan Smith's overtime game-winning goal in 3-2 WCHA road victory at Bowling Green January 18, 2020...2019-20 WCHA Scholar-Athlete...2019-20 WCHA All-Academic.

2018-19: Notched one goal and six assists for seven points...Saw action in all 42 games...Recorded first career goal on Nov. 16 in helping Minnesota State to 7-1 win over Ferris State...Logged multi-assist game when with two helpers at Alaska Fairbanks (Feb. 1)...Blocked 36 shots in his second season as a Maverick...Led Mavericks with +27 (ranked seventh in the nation)...2018-19 WCHA Scholar-Athlete...2018-19 WCHA All-Academic.


2017-18:
 Had 0-6--6 in 23 games played in first season of college hockey...Finished with +8 rating and 16 shots on goal...Registered two assists in 7-0 win at Lake Superior State Dec. 9, 2017.


THE McNEELY FILE:   Team captain for Tri-City of the United States Hockey League where he had 0-1--1 in 11 games played with the Storm prior to be traded to Muskegon (1-10--11 in 38 GP) in 2016-17...Won Clark Cup in helping Tri-City capture USHL postseason title in 2015-16 where he had 0-2--2 in 11 regular-season games with the Storm...Lakeville North (Minn.) High School product where he had 1-20--21 in 25 games in 2014-15...Selected to play in the Upper Midwest HS Elite League where he totalled 1-9--10 in 42 games with Team Southwest.
