As a Maverick: Lettered in 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20... 18-43--61 with 204 shots on goal, a +47 rating and 92 blocked shots in 118 games played in three years with Minnesota State.
2019-20: 2019-20 AHCA/CCM West Second Team All-America...All-WCHA First Team selection...Completed junior season with seven goals and 17 assists for 24 points in standing as Minnesota State's top-scoring defenseman...Led Mavericks and ranked sixth in the nation with +23 rating...Two-time WCHA Defenseman of the Week during course of season... Had two assists and totaled four shots on goal and +2 rating in two games vs. Bemidji State Jan. 24-25. Assisted on Dallas Gerad's game-winning tally in 3-2 victory vs. the Beavers Jan. 24... Registered five points, nine shots on goal and a +5 rating in two wins over Alaska Anchorage Jan. 31-Feb. 1. Had three points on a goal and two assists in 7-1 victory over UAA (Jan. 31). Then, with Mavericks trailing 2-0 late in third period Saturday vs. Seawolves, assisted on a goal by Parker Tuomie at 19:04 to make it a 2-1 game. And with less than a second remaining in regulation drew an assist on Ian Scheid's game-tying goal, sending the contest into overtime.
2018-19: All-WCHA Third Team selection...Completed sophomore season with seven goals and 18 assists for 25 points, +15 rating and 78 shots on goal...Played in all 42 of Minnesota State's games...Scored game-tying goal with 56 seconds remaining in regulation vs. Bowling Green in WCHA Championship game (March 23...Mavericks won game in OT)...Tallied first career game-winning goal when he scored in overtime in Minnesota State's 3-2 win at Michigan Tech (Feb. 9)...Recorded two assists in 8-2 win at Northern Michigan (Jan. 26)...Named WCHA Defensive Player of the Week following the Ferris State series (Nov. 16-17). Had three assists, one shot on goal, was +5 and had three blocked shots in the sweep over the Bulldogs. Had career-high three assists and was +4 in Friday's 7-1 win and registered one shot on goal and was +1 in Saturday's 5-2 victory...2018-19 WCHA All-Academic.
2017-18: 2017-18 WCHA All-Rookie Team selection...Played in all 40 games for the Mavericks...Registered 4-8--12 in first season of college hockey...Had two assists and was +3 in 7-1 win over Alaska Anchorage (Feb. 2)...Scored first career goal Oct. 20 in 4-1 win at Bowling Green.
THE MACKEY FILE: Alternate captain for Green Bay (USHL) in 2016-17 where he had six goals and 41 assists for 47 points in 60 games...2016-17 USHL Defenseman of the Year and USHL First Team selection led all league defensemen in scoring and ranked 16th overall in points...Ranked third in the USHL in assists...Led all USHL players with 30 power-play assists and 34 power-play points, and his four goals on the man advantage were the third-most in the league among defensemen...Named USHL Defenseman of the Week four times, including back-to-back weekly honors on Oct. 31 and Nov. 7...Had 1-1--2 in 29 games in rookie season with the Gamblers in 2015-16...Father, Dave, played in 126 National Hockey League games as a forward with Chicago, Minnesota and St. Louis from 1987-94.
