2013-14:  Scored first goal of 2013-14 in Minnesota State's 4-1 win over Ferris State in championship game of 2014 WCHA Final Five...Saw action in 38 games and registered 1-4--5.

2012-13:  Totalled 5-9--14 in 40 games played...Registered a goal and two assists in 6-1 win over Michigan Tech (Feb. 1)...Tied for sixth on the Mavericks with a +5 on the year...Had 3-2--5 in the last ten games of the season...MSU went 5-0-0 in games in which he scored a goal and were 9-2-1 in games in which he had a point.

THE KNOWLES FILE: Spent four seasons in British Columbia Hockey League prior to joining Mavericks...Served as team captain in 2011-12 with Salmon Arm before getting traded to Cowichan Valley... Totalled 22-45--67 in 60 games with the two teams in 2011-22...Led Cowichan Valley with 4-7--11 in seven play-off games in 2011-12 and was named Capitals' play-off MVP ...Had 30-28--58 in 57 games with Salmon Arm in 2010-11...
