As a Maverick:  Three-year letterman is in first year as assistant captain and enters 2010-11 with a career +8 rating.

2009-10:  Led the Mavericks in scoring in 2009-10 with 3-23--26 and achieved career-highs for goals, assists and points in the process....Became the fifth defenseman to lead MSU in scoring, joining John McNamara (1970-71), Dave Saatzer (1977-78), Terry Hughes (1989-90) and Kurt Davis (2008-09)...Ranked fourth amongst WCHA defensemen in scoring on the year, standing only behind UW's Brendan Smith (15-37--52), CC's Nate Prosser (4-24--28) and DU's Patrick Wiercioch (6-21--27)... Had three assists in a game three times during the course of the year...Named MSU’s Unsung Hero for 2009-10... 2009-10 WCHA All-Academic.

2008-09:  Finished 2008-09 with 0-8--8 in 32 games..Was +1 for the season...Recorded two assists in MSU’s season-opening 5-2 victory over Bemidji State Oct. 10...Ranked sixth on the team with 45 PIMs...2008-09 WCHA All-Academic.

2007-08:  Had 1-11--12 in 37 games in debut season with the Mavericks...Scored first career goal in a 5-1 home win over the University of Denver Feb. 1, 2008...Ranked fifth on the team with a +8 and 53 PIMs ranked third...Registered 59 shots on goal to rank ninth on the team...Played in 32 consecutive games to close out the 2007-08 campaign.

THE YOUDS FILE:  Racked up 10-32--42 in 61 games for Shattuck-St. Mary’s in 2006-07...Member of 2006 USA National U-18 Team, competed in Peistany, Slovakia and led tournament in points for defenseman...Member of Team Minnesota Select 17’s, Team Minnesota Select 16’s, Team Minnesota Select 15’s...Totalled 2-20--24 in 59 games at SSM in 2005-06...Team captain, named all-conference and led defenseman in scoring for Maple Grove High School as a junior in 2004-05...Named Most Valuable Defenseman in 2004-05...Lettered as a sophomore at Maple Grove in 2003-2004.
