Biography
2018-19: Ranked second on team with 75.9 average...Posted a season low 66 at NSU Golf Classic in the first round (Sept. 17-18)...Tied for 29th at NSIC Championships with rounds 80-83 amd 72 for a 235 total...Named NSIC Golfer of the week on Sept. 12th.
2017-18: Ranked second on team with 75.1 average...Placed 51st at NCAA DII Midwest/Central Regional with rounds of 72-77 and 75 for a 224 total...Earned All-NSIC Second Team honors...Tied for 16th at NSIC Championship.
THE BENNETT FILE: Joined the Mavericks following two years at Iowa Lakes Community College where he claimed four tournament titles and averaged 73.86 as a freshman in 2015-16. A first team all-conference performer in 2015-16, the Marshall, Minn., native was first team all-region and a 2016 Second Team All-American after placing 11th at the NJCAA DII national tournament. A three-time Minnesota State High School League All-State selection, Bennett qualified for the state high school tournament on four occasions including a tie for eighth place as a junior.
