2012: Helped lead Mavericks to third-place finish at NCAA Region meet with 15th-place finish (30:47)...Finished ninth at NSIC meet (25:52) as MSU placed second as a team. Helped lead Mavericks to first-place finish at both Oz Memorial and St. Olaf with a fourth-place finish (19:15) and third-place finish (25:49). Finished in 27th-place (26:25) in the Griak Invitational, helping MSU to a second-place finish as a team.
Personal: Son of James and Jennifer Eklof…Born April 11, 1990…Majoring in electrical engineering…Was a member of both cross country and track teams at Iowa State for three years before transferring to Minnesota State…Graduated from Madison Lafollette High School in 2008.
