High School: Helped Montini to a 10-4 record as a senior and was a member of the Illinois Class 5A State Championship squad...Rushed 150 times for 1,195 yards and nine touchdowns...Also caught 11 passes for 113 yards...On the defensive side of the ball he totalled 113 tackles (68 solo), 11 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks and two interceptions...Also had three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and two blocked kicks...Was a first-team all-conference, all-area and all-state selection as a senior.

Personal: Son of Tom and Ellen Gorrell...Born Nov. 1, 1991...Proposed Business Management major.
