Collin Prosser

Collin Prosser joined the Maverick football coaching staff as the offensive line coach in July of 2017. Prosser spent the previous two seasons coaching the offensive line, defensive line and special teams at the University of South Dakota. In 2020, Prosser was named the team's run game coordinator.

Prosser is also in charge of the Maverick football camps and is the co-recruiting coordinator. He also works as the equipment liaison.

Prosser's first season at Minnesota State in 2017 proved to be one for the record books as the Maverick offensive line helped MSU establish a team single-season record of 4,036 rushing yards and 33 touchdown carries. As a team, Minnesota State ranked third in Division II averaging 288.3 rushing yards a game.

Three Maverick offensive lineman received All-NSIC honors in 2017, including Evan Heim and Sam Schrauth who both received All-NSIC First Team honors. Hunter Toppel claimed All-NSIC Second Team honors as well. The MSU offensive line also boasted one All-American in 2017 as Jake Porter received CoSIDA Academic All-American Second Team accolades.

The 2018 season saw the Mavericks surpass 3,300 rushing yards in a season for just the sixth time in program history as MSU finished with 3,345 rushing yards and 37 touchdowns. As a unit, MSU ranked 19th in Division II with 238.9 rushing yards per game. As a unit, the offensive line allowed just 12 sacks in 14 games, which ranked second in the NSIC.

Three offensive lineman garnered All-NSIC honors, including Evan Heim, Hunter Toppel and Jared Gossen. Heim and Toppel eventually went on to claim All-American honors. Heim received D2CCA Second Team, D2Football.com First Team and Don Hansen First Team All-American honors, while Toppel received Don Hansen Second Team honors.

Minnesota State rewrote the record books during the 2019 season as it tallied team single-season records in points scored (712), rushing yards (4,246), rushing attempts (713) and rushing touchdowns (59). As a team, MSU finished fifth in NCAA Division II with 283.1 rushing yards a game, while it finished first in scoring offense with 47.5 points. The offensive line allowed allowed just 19 sacks in 15 games also.

Four Maverick offensive lineman received All-NSIC honors for their effort during the 2019 season, including Evan Heim, Jared Gossen, Carter Dowdle and Hunter Toppel. Heim would go on to receive All-American First Team honors from the AP, D2CCA, D2Football.com and Don Hansen.

Prior to joining the Coyotes, Prosser coached several positions in fours seasons at Morningside College. During the 2013 and 2014 seasons, Prosser served as the co-offensive coordinator, offensive line and tight ends coach where he was twice named a finalist for the Football Scoop Offensive Coordinator of the Year award. The 2014 season saw the Mustang offense average 662 yards, which was more than any other college football team at any level. Prior to taking over as a co-offensive coordinator, Prosser worked with the running backs and served as the head coach of the JV team.

Prosser, who was a member of the Wayne State College football team and served as a team captain during his senior season, graduated from WSC in 2009 with a degree in physical education. He went on to earn his master's degree from USD after coaching tight ends for two seasons at USD as a graduate assistant.

Prosser, and his wife Heather, have three sons, Colton, Camden and Brevin.
