Mike Sullivan (Sully) called games for MSU men's hockey for 25 seasons as the play-by-play voice of the Mavericks until his retirement in 2024-15. The Mavericks dedicated the radio booth at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center to Sullivan on October 11, 2024.
Sullivan had broadcast 504 consecutive MSU men's hockey games prior to the 2013-14 season.
Dating back to the start of the 2000-01 and not including exhibition games,Â
Mike Sullivan had worked 504 consecutive Minnesota State men's hockey games prior to the start of the 2013-14 season. During those 13 years he was the only person in the rink for every one of those 504 games. Sullivan's preparedness and passion for his profession undoubtedly make him one of the best in the business.
