Myers Field House

Opened in 2001 - A multi-purpose facility that boasts an eight-lane NCAA-sanctioned 200-meter track with accommodations for 1,000 spectators, Myers Field House serves as the home of the Minnesota State track and field teams and houses winter workouts for several other Maverick teams.

The $11-million, 84,000 sq. ft. facility has served as the site for the 2008 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championship and 2012 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championship.

Myers Field House has also served as the host site for the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship on eight occasions (2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019) and the North Central Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship four times (2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008).

The facility is named for Earl "Bud" Myers, who spent 31 years coaching Minnesota State men's track & field (1949-73) and cross country programs (1956-79).  Coach Myers, who served as president of the National Collegiate Track Coaches Association from 1969-72, was a native of St. Joseph, Mich., who earned an undergraduate degree from Western Michigan and a master's degree from Michigan State.
