2019-20: In 2019, Tanner was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Newcomer of the Year and placed 3rd in the 800m. 

High School: In 2017, Tanner placed 3rd in the 800m...In 2018, he was a state champion in the 4x800m, 800m state champion and was named Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association State Team Runner-Up.
