High School: An infielder from Warrenville, Ill., Carly Briggs was a four-year starter for the Wheaton Warrenville High School softball team...She was also a four-year letterwinner with the volleyball and basketball teams and became the first freshman to start on the varsity softball team...Briggs, who was named to the National Honor Society, garnered a pair of all-conference honors, to go along with begin named the team’s MVP during her sophomore and junior seasons...As a sophomore, she helped lead her team to a conference championship as she led the team in batting average and runs batted it...During her junior season, she also claimed all-area honors as her team finished second in conference and went on to win a region championship.
