High School: A native of Centerville, Minn., Madi Newman played four seasons of softball at Centennial High School, primarily at shortstop and catcher...She has received all-conference honors as both and sophomore and a junior...As a junior, Newman batted .382 with 29 runs scored, 22 RBI and seven home runs as she helped her team to a conference and section championship...Her team would ultimately finish third at the state tournament.
