Biography
2021-22: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…Posted a season best of 11:29.59 in the 1,000 freestyle event at the NSIC Championships…Also posted season bests in the 100 backstroke (58.96) and 200 backstroke (2:07.86) events at the conference meet.
2020-21: Named to NSIC All-Academic Team…Finished sixth in the 200 backstroke at the NSIC Championships with a time of 2:05.79 and 14th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 59.10.
2019-20: Finished fifth in the 200 backstroke against South Dakota with a time of 2:13.50…Recorded a time of 5:48.15 in the 500 freestyle event against Sioux Falls…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team/Team of Excellence.
2018-19: Claimed All-NSIC honors as a member of the 200 medley relay team that finished first with a time of 1:43.33, and as a member of the 400 medley relay team that finished second with a time of 3:48.11 at the NSIC Championships…Took 12th place at the NSIC Championships in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:56.28…Recorded a personal best time of 5:18.38 in the 500 freestyle at the Rochester Invite.
High School: A native of Milwaukee, Wis., Brooke Miles competed for the Whitnall High School swim team and the Southwest Aquatic Team (SWAT)...She was a two-time Wisconsin Club State Champion in the 200 LC backstroke in 2016 and 2017...She was also a Jr. National Qualifier in 2017. At Whitnall High School, Miles advanced to the state meet four times and received an All-State Honorable Mention in 2016 and 2017...Named Whitnall's Most Valuable Swimmer three times and served as a team captain during her senior season.
Personal: Brooke is the daughter of John and Jodi Miles...Born September 1, 2000...Majoring in biomedical sciences.
