Biography
2020-21: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team/Team of Excellence…Was a member of the 800 freestyle relay team that finished first at the NSIC Championships (7:38.68)…Finished seventh in the 500 freestyle (5:12.55) and the 1,650 freestyle (18:02.21) events at the NSIC Championships.
2019-20: Finished 10th in the 200 freestyle at the NSIC Championships with a time of 1:55.57…Also finished 10th in both the 1,000 freestyle (10:40.55) and the 1,650 freestyle (18:04.43) at the conference championships…Finished second in the 500 freestyle at the Rochester Invite with a time of 5:08.77…Garnered All-NSIC honors as a member of the 400 medley relay team that finished second with a time of 3:53.08 at the NSIC Championships…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team/Team of Excellence.
2018-19: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…Claimed All-NSIC honors as a member of the 800 freestyle relay team at the NSIC Championships with a time of 7:38.73…Finished eighth in the 200 freestyle (1:54.42) and 12th in the 500 freestyle (5:09.83) at the NSIC Championships.
2017-18: Turned in a time of 24.92 in the 50 freestyle at NSIC Championships. Placed 10th in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:55.93 at NSIC Championships... took 13th in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:16.77. Was a member of the All-NSIC winning 800 freestyle relay, setting a new NSIC and MSU school record. Took 6th in the 1650 with a time of 18:00.54... Took 8th in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:44.06 at NSIC Championships.
High School: Was a state qualifier at Case High School...YMCA national qualifier and a Speedo sectional qualifier.
Personal: Emelia is the daughter of Doug and Joan Selky...Born August 7, 1999...Majoring in psychology.
