High School: Before joining the Maverick women's basketball program, Schoper was an All-State pitcher for the Mankato West softball team...During her senior season, Schoper helped the Scarlets to a state championship and she was named a finalist for the 2016 Minnesota Miss Softball Award...Schoper earned the win in the State 3A championship game as the Scarlets defeated Winona 4-3.

Women's Basketball: Schoper played one season as a member of the women's basketball team during the 2016-17 season...Schoper appeared in 14 games, averaging 4.2 minutes a game...The Mavericks finished their 2016-17 season with a 16-11 record.
