High School: A four-year letterwinner from West Des Moines, Iowa, Julia Bastian was a regular starter for the Dowling Catholic High School softball team since 2013...During her first season, Bastian received All-State Second Team honors as she helped her squad to a state championship...During the 2014 season, she would go on to receive All-State First Team honors as she batted .418, with 59 hits and 47 RBI, as he team finished third at the state tournament.
