Biography

2022: Played and started in all of Minnesota States 22 matches…Finished as the Mavericks’ top scorer for the season with 12 goals, four assists and team-leading 28 points… Also led the team in game winning goals with five… Mustered a total 1582 minutes of action… Had a season-high of two goals vs. MSU Moorhead and 102 minutes vs. Minot State…Was a two-time NSIC offensive player of the week… Also was named the NSIC offensive player of the year and to the All-NSIC first team…Received USC and D2CCA All-Central Region first team honors… Received USC All-American third team honors... Named to the Academic All-American first team and was named to the Academic All-American D2 women’s soccer player of the year…Only Maverick in school history to receive four Academic All-American honors… Named to the USC scholar All-American first team… Also was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.


2021: Played and started in all 23 matches for the Mavericks during the 2021 season...Finished the year as the Mavericks' top scorer with a team-high 19 goals, four assists and team-leading 42 points...Ranked second in the nation with seven game-winning goals and matched Korey Kronforst (2012-15) for most GWG all-time at MSU with 19...Led the team in shooting efforts with 86 attempts and 46 on goal to become the Mavericks' third-most prolific shot taker in school history with 283 shots in her career...2021 CoSIDA First Team All-American (The first MSU women's student-athlete to become a three-time CoSIDA All-American - Second time in school history (Jason Krug - Men's Hockey in 1996, 1997 and 1998))...2021 D2CCA All-American Second Team, 2021 USC All-American Third Team...2021 NSIC Offensive Player of the Year...2021 NSIC All-Tournament Team...2021 All-NSIC First Team...Named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team...2021 NSIC Honor Student-Athlete Award winner.

2020-21: Led Minnesota State with a pair of goals during the 2021 spring season in just one official match for the women’s soccer team (3-0 win vs. Minot State, March 5)…Attempted four shots in the match and had three on goal…Named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2019: Started in all 24 matches for 1,728 minutes during breakout sophomore season...Had five matches where she scored a career high two goals against MSSU (Sept. 9), SMSU (Oct. 11), USF (Oct. 13), UMC (Oct. 18) and CSP (Nov. 17)...Recorded a career high three assists and seven points against USF (Oct. 13), with the three assists being tied for the second most and the seven points being tied for sixth most in a match at MSU...From Oct. 6-Nov. 1, scored in eight straight matches and scored 11 goals overall and in seven of those matches, scored the game winning goal...Had the most game winning goals (10), the eighth most goals (20) and the tenth most points (47) in NCAA DII...Joined Amber Dusosky (2000 & 2002) as the only two to score 20 goals in a season at MSU...Broke MSU single season records for game winning goals (10) and shots taken (144), while also scoring the third most goals (20) and collecting the fourth most points (47)...Through two seasons, is fourth all-time for game winning goals scored (12) at MSU...Led the team in goals, points, game winning goals and shots on net (70), while being second with seven assists...Named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team, the USC All-American First Team the D2CCA All-American Second Team...She was named the D2CCA Central Region Player of the Year, the NSIC Offensive Player of the Year and the NSIC Tournament MVP...Also named to the D2CCA All-Central Region First Team, the USC All-Central Region First Team, the CoSIDA All-District Team, the All-NSIC First Team, the NSIC All-Tournament Team. and the NSIC Fall-All-Academic Team.

2018: Played in all 23 matches, including eight starts, as a freshman and amassed 1,089 minutes...Had a total of 11 points, four goals, three assists, and two game-winning goals...Recorded her first assist in 3-1 win over Winona State on Sept. 14...Scored first collegiate goal and game-winning goal in 3-1 win over Concordia-St. Paul on Oct. 9.

High School: A three-sport athlete at Mankato East High School - a four-year starter in soccer, a three-year letterwinner in track & field and a two-year letterwinner in basketball...Was named first team all-state and KEYC Prep Athlete of the Week during senior year...A three-time all-conference and three-time all-city selection...Was also a all-state honorable mention during junior year and all-conference honorable mention as a freshman...Soccer team captain during junior and senior seasons...East High School all-time leader in career goals (55), assists (31) and points (141). For track & field, was a 6-time letterwinner, two-time all-conference, two-time all-conference honorable mention and all-state in 2016.

Personal: Daughter of Tim and Ruth Vetter...Has sister named Lizzy, who coaches at Mankato East High School...Biology major...Born Oct. 17, 1999.
