Biography
2014-15: Received the MSU Most Dedicated and MVP awards…Named an NSISC Scholar Athlete…Set a school record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.61 at the NSISC Championships…Finished in seventh place at the NSISC Championships in the 100-yard backstroke and the 100-yard freestyle…Was a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay team that set a school record at the NSISC Championships with a time of 1:33.88…Competed in multiple relay events at the NCAA Championships, including the 200-yard medley relay, the 200-yard freestyle relay, the 800-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay…Also competed in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke events at the NCAA Championships...Named a CSCAA Scholar All-American.
2013-14: Earned the MSU MVP award and set a school record in the 100-yard backstroke in a ninth place finish at the NCAA Championships…Named the NSIC Swimmer of the Year…Took first place in the 100-yard backstroke, second place in the 50-yard freestyle and third place in the 200-yard backstroke at the NSIC Championships…Received a CSCAA All-American Honorable Mention…Helped her team to third place finishes in the 400-yard medley relay, the 200-yard freestyle relay, the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay at the NSIC Championships…Received the NSIC Swimmer of the Week award…Won two events against South Dakota including the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke.
2012-13: Finished second at the NSIC Championships in the 100-yard backstroke…Member of school record breaking 400-freestyle relay…Achieved second fastest time in school history in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke…Earned all-conference honors in the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard medley relay, and 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays...Achieved NCAA "B" qualifying standards in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke.
Pre-MSU: Competed at University of Vermont her freshman season…Finished 15th in the 100-yard butterfly at America East Conference meet…Member of three freshman records in the 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relays.
High School: Holds 100-yard backstroke and freestyle pool records…Also holds records in the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly…Was a team captain her senior season…Qualified for short course senior nationals in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke and the 100-yard freestyle.
