High School: Was a four-year starter and letterwinner at Valley High School…Also participated in cross country…Batted .336 as a senior while slugging .411 and fielding .975…Was a second-team All-CIML pick and was named Academic All-State…As a junior she hit .261 with a .361 slugging percentage and a .993 fielding percentage…As a sophomore Valley won the Iowa Class 4A State Championship as she hit .404.
