Biography
2022-23: Finished seventh at the NSIC Championships in the 200 backstroke event with a time of 2:06.61…Posted a personal best of 2:11.32 in the 200 IM at the NSIC Championships…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…Recorded a personal best of 58.76 in the 100 backstroke at the Augustana Invitational…Finished second in the 200 backstroke event at the JoAnn Andregg Invitational with a time of 2:10.09.
2021-22: Posted two personal bests at the NSIC Championships in the 200 freestyle (1:55.70) and the 1,000 freestyle (11:12.01)…Finished ninth in the 200 backstroke at the conference meet with a time of 2:07.62…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team.
2020-21: Named to NSIC All-Academic Team…Finished with a time of 53.43 in the 100 freestyle at the NSIC Championships, to go along with a time of 1:56.52 in the 200 freestyle…Posted a time of 5:18.20 in the 500 freestyle at the conference meet as well.
2019-20: Recorded a time of 1:56.38 in the 200 freestyle at the NSIC Championships…Finished in ninth place in the 100 freestyle at the UW-Stevens Point Invite with a time of 56.84…Placed eighth in the 50 freestyle event against South Dakota with a time of 25.75.
High School: Received four all-conference honors and is the school record holder with five state meet appearances.
Personal: Mari is the daughter of Kelly and Tim Dougherty...Majoring in aviation.
