Biography
2021-22: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and received the NSIC Myles Brand Academic Award…Earned All-NSIC honors in the 100 IM as she finished third with a time of 57.95 at the NSIC Championships…Finished eighth in the 100 breaststroke event at the NSIC Championships with a personal best time of 1:05.30.
2020-21: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team/Team of Excellence…Was a member of the 200 medley relay team that finished first at the NSIC Championships (1:43.78)…Won the 100 IM (58.97) at the NSIC Championships…Placed fifth in the 100 butterfly (57.11) and sixth in the 200 IM (2:08.99) at the conference meet.
2019-20: Claimed All-NSIC honors in a pair of events at the NSIC Championships as she won the 100 IM with a time of 58.22 and finished second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.88…Also finished fourth in the 100 butterfly (57.06) and 10th in the 200 butterfly (2:13.30) at the NSIC Championships…Finished third in the 100 breaststroke at the Rochester Invite with a time of 1:05.37…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team/Team of Excellence.
2018-19: Earned All-NSIC honors in three events at the NSIC Championships including the 100 IM (3rd/58.45), the 200 medley relay (1st/1:43.33) and the 400 medley relay (2nd/3:48.11)…Also finished fourth in the 100 butterfly (56.15) and the 200 IM (2:07.81) at the NSIC Championships.
High School:Â A five-time letter winner and state qualifier from Brainerd, Minn., Streiff holds two individual school records in the 200-yard IM and 100-yard butterfly events...She was also a member of two school record-setting relays, the 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay. Katie was a team captain and a two-time MVP.
Personal: Katie is the daughter of Brett and Mary Streiff...Born December 5, 1999...Majoring in anthropology.
