LAKE CITY, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's and women's golf teams concluded play at the Jewell Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
The two-round Jewell Invitational was held at the par-72 Jewel Golf Course in Lake City, Minn.
Women's Recap
The Minnesota State women's golf team finished the Jewel Invitational in a tie for fourth place with Upper Iowa. The Mavericks posted scores of 322-312--634 (+58) to finish in a tie for fourth. Augustana took first place in the team standings with scores of 303-307—610 (+34).
Concordia-St. Paul's Addi Wood finished first in the individual standings with a scores of 72-74—146 (+2).
Junior
Emerson Garlie shot a 76 on the final day to finish in a tie for seventh place at +8. Garlie recorded three birdies and 10 pars in her final round. Junior
Kelby Anderson also shot a 76 in her final round to finish in 16th place at +13. Anderson added two birdies in the final round and shot an even 36 on the back nine.
Senior
Lauren Brown finished in 25th place at +18 as she shot an 82 in her final round, while junior
Aly Blomberg posted a 78 to finish one shot behind Brown at +19. Freshman
Brooklyn Lee posted an 89 on her final day to finish at +31 as well.
Freshmen
Maddy Fee and
Tayla Perry each competed independently at the Jewel Invitational. Fee shot an 81 on the final day to finish in 22nd at +16, while Perry tallied an 89 to finish the event at +27.

Men's Recap
The Minnesota State men's golf team finished the Jewel Invitational in fifth place with scores of 293-298--591 (+15). Winona State finished first in the team standings as it posted scores of 287-290—577 (+1).
Concordia-St. Paul's Brennan Weckwerth took first place in the individual standings with scores of 68-72—140 (-4).
Senior
Karson Patten posted a 75 on the final day to finish in ninth place at +2. Patten notched four birdies, including three on the front nine. Freshman
Cooper Daikawa added a 77 in round two to finish 16th at +4. Daikawa recorded a pair of birdies in round two also.
Junior
Michael Johnson shot a team-best 72 in the final round as he finish 22nd at +5, while sophomore
Sam Swavely shot a 76 to finish one shot behind Johnson at +6. Johnson posted six birdies during the second round, while Swavely notched two.
Sophomore
Paul Rezko shot a 75 to finish the event at +10 also as he recorded four birdies during his second round.

Julian Bhardwaj each finished the event at +17. Waller posted an 81 in round two, while Bhardwaj posted a score of 79. Freshman
