HUDSON, Wis. --- The Minnesota State men's and women's golf teams wrapped up the two-round Maverick Fall Brawl Tuesday.
The two-round Maverick Fall Brawl was held at the par-71 Troy Burne Golf Club in Hudson, Wis.
Women's Recap
The Minnesota State women's golf team finished third in the team standings at the Maverick Fall Brawl with scores of 325-306—631 (+63). Concordia-St. Paul took first in the team standings with scores of 323-299—622 (+54), while UW-Stout took second with scores of 319-306—625 (+57).
CSP's Ella Matzke (78-72—150) and Addi Wood (76-74—150) finished first in the individual standings as they both finish the event at +8.
Junior
Emerson Garlie led the way for the Mavericks as she finished just one stroke back of the leaders at +9. Garlie shot a 72 in her final round which included three birdies and an even 36 on the front nine. Junior
Aly Blomberg shot a 78 on the final day to finish in 11th place at +16. Blomberg recorded 11 pars and a birdie on the final day.

Kelby Anderson and senior
Lauren Brown both shot 78 on the final day to finish at +19 and +20, respectively. Both recorded a pair of birdies in the final round. Freshman
Brooklyn Lee posted an 87 in the final round to finish at +28 as well.
Freshmen
Tayla Perry and
Maddy Fee competed independently and they finished the Maverick Fall Brawl at +30 and +31, respectively. Perry posted a pair of birdies on the final day, while Fee recorded one.
Minnesota State returns to action on Sept. 21-22 as it competed in the Jewel Invitational at the Jewell Golf Club in Lake City, Minn.

The Minnesota State men's golf team finished in sixth place in the team standings with scores of 303-305—608 (+40). UMary finished first in the team standings with scores of 296-294—590 (+22).
Concordia-St. Paul's Brennan Weckwerth finished first in the individual standings with scores of 70-71—141 (-1).
Senior
Karson Patten shot a 76 on the final day to finish in seventh at +6. Patten recorded three birdies and shot two under par on the front nine.
Junior
Michael Johnson shot a 77 on the final day to finish at +13. Johnson notched one of the eight eagles during his final round on the par-5 12th hole. Sophomore
Sam Swavely shot a team-best 72 on the final day to finish one shot behind Johnson at +14. Swavely notched four birdies in his final round.

Paul Rezko posted an 83 on the final day to finish at +15, while junior
Logan Peroutka added an 80 to finish at +17.
