CLEVELAND --- A total of 189 Minnesota State student-athletes have received the Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award for their efforts in the classroom during the 2025-26 season.

More than 21,000 student-athletes from 179 institutions were recognized for the 2025-26 academic achievement award. The NSIC boasted a total of 1,428 student-athletes and was one of nine division II conference to have at least 1,000 student-athletes receive the honor. MSU's 189 recipients were the most in the NSIC.

To qualify for this honor, the athletic director must be a current dues-paying member of D2 ADA. Student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year.
