DEPHAVEN, Minn. --- Minnesota State goaltender Lassi Lehti has been named the CCHA Goaltender of the Week for his efforts against St. Thomas this past weekend.

Lehti recorded 81 saves on 82 shots to help the Mavericks complete the sweep of St. Thomas. In Friday's game, Lehti stopped 51-of-52 shots in MSU's 3-1 win over the Tommies. His 51 saves are the most saves by a goaltender in a game this season.

Lehti followed up with a 30-save shutout on Saturday as the Mavericks bested UST 2-0 at home. This was Lehti's first shutout as a Maverick and fourth of his career.

Lehti is the first Maverick to garner CCHA Goaltender of the Week honors this season. The last MSU goaltender to do so was Alex Tracy back on March 2, 2026.

Minnesota State opens its CCHA schedule at home this weekend as it hosts Lake Superior State at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center. Friday's puck drop is scheduled for 7:07 p.m., with Saturday's set for 6:07 p.m.
