BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Minnesota State freshman
Jack Kendall (Virginia, Minn./Rock Ridge HS) was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's cross country Athlete of the Week by the conference office on Tuesday (Sept. 30).
Kendall posted the top individual mark for the Mavericks at the Lucian Rosa Invite over the weekend. He placed 68
th in a field of 220 runners and ran the 8K course in Kenosha, Wisconsin in a time of 26:02.2. Kendall helped the Mavericks place 17
th as a team against top NCAA Division II competition.
MSU men's cross country competes next at the Holiday Inn Express Classic on October 11 at Dordt University Prairie. The 8K course is located in Sioux Center, Iowa. It is the final meet before the NSIC Championships at Wayne Country Club on Friday, October 24.
