BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State sophomore
Connor Fournier has been named the NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts last week against Northwest Missouri State.
Fournier made a 24-yard field goal and went 5-for-5 in extra point attempts as he notched eight points vs. the Bearcats.
Fournier is the first Maverick to earn NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week honors since
Matthew Jaeger did so back on Oct. 9, 2024.
Minnesota State continues its season at home this Saturday as it takes on the Minot State Beavers. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Blakeslee Stadium.
