Bohlsen Joins Calgary Wranglers

CALGARY, Alberta – Minnesota State right wing Kaden Bohlsen (Willmar, Minn.) will join the Calgary Wranglers (AHL, Calgary Flames) on an Amateur Tryout (ATO).
 
Bohlsen posted 17 points (12 goals, five assists) in 28 games for the Mavericks this season. He skated in 65 games in Purple and Gold with 23 goals, 15 assists and 38 points over two seasons. Bohlsen's first three seasons of collegiate hockey were spent at Omaha. He also played three years of junior hockey in the USHL, two with Des Moines (2017-18, 2018-19) and two with the Fargo Force (2018-19, 2019-20).
 
Bohlsen reunites with former teammate at MSU Sam Morton. Morton has 18 goals and 22 assists for 40 points (fourth on team) in his first full season in Calgary.
 
Bohlsen is the second player to announce a professional signing, after defenseman Jordan Power (Ottawa, Ontario) left for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL, Los Angeles Kings).
