DECORAH, Iowa – Minnesota State wrestling competed Saturday at the Luther Open at Gerdin Fieldhouse, where several student-athletes placed in Decorah. Drake Hayward took second place at 174 pounds with four wins in the championship bracket. Kaiden Dietzenbach was third at 141 pounds. Paolo Salminen took fourth at 165 pounds. Walker Bents finished fifth at 149 pounds for the Mavericks. Jacob Fitzpatrick also took fifth at 125 pounds.
