WACO, Texas --- The Minnesota State football team improved to ninth in the latest edition of the AFCA Poll.
MSU, which was ranked 11th in last week's poll, improved two spots after being idle last week.
The Mavericks are one of three NSIC teams ranked in the top-25. Augustana moved up to fifth in the poll, while Minnesota Duluth moved up to 15th.
Minnesota State returns to action on Saturday as they travel to Wayne, Neb., to take on the Wayne State Wildcats. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., at Bob Cunningham Field.
