MANKATO, Minn.--- No. 22 Minnesota State will host Concordia-St. Paul and Augustana at the Pitch on Friday at 3 p.m. and on Sunday at 1 p.m., respectively  

The Mavericks were on the road this past weekend where they faced Central Missouri and Northwest Missouri State. MSU went 0-1-1 on the road trip and now owns a 1-1-2 record for the season.  

Facing the Golden Bears: Going into the match up with Concordia-St. Paul, the Mavericks are 12-2-1 against the Golden Bears. The last time they faced off was in the NSIC Tournament last season where CSP defeated MSU 2-1 in the first round. 

Scouting CSP: The Golden Bears enter the weekend the owners of a 2-0-2 record. Last weekend, CSP traveled to Kearney, Neb. where they tied Nebraska-Kearney 0-0, before defeating New Mexico Highlands 4-0. Sydney Manthana and Sammy Ponsonby lead the Golden Bears with two goals and four points. 

Facing the Vikings: The Mavericks are 31-3 against the Vikings. The last time AU and MSU faced off Minnesota State beat Augustana 1-0 during the 2023 season.  

Scouting AU: Augustana owns a 1-1-1 record on the season, including a 0-0 draw against Fort Hays State in Sioux Falls, S.D. last weekend. Macie Haggerty leads the Viking offense this season with one goal and one assist for a total of three points.
