MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State junior Campbell Cichosz (Albert Lea, Minn.) was named CCHA Defenseman of the Week (first career) on Monday, December 9.
 
Cichosz was excellent in the Maverick home sweep over Bowling Green over the weekend. Friday night, he assisted on Brian Carrabes' eventual game-winning goal in the first period.
 
Saturday night, Cichosz scored in the second period for his first of the season (second career) to help MSU over Bowling Green 3-2.
 
Cichosz totaled 10 blocked shots in the series along with four shots on goal. He has one goal and three assists in 2024-25 and has played in 14 games.
 
Minnesota State (12-4-2, 7-1-2 CCHA) hosts Lake Superior State Friday (7:07 p.m.) and Saturday (6:07 p.m.) this week.
