Mankato, Minn. --- No. 19 Minnesota State (11-3-5, 9-1-4 NSIC) was bounced from the NSIC tournament by Concordia St. Paul (9-6-4, 6-4-4 NSIC) after a 2-1 final Monday afternoon at the Maverick All-Sports Dome.
The Mavericks came into the tournament as the second seed hosting the seventh seed Golden Bears.
CSP was able to jump on the Mavericks in the first half outshooting Minnesota State 6-3 while both teams landed two on net.

Katie Anderson notched the first tally of the game for CSP in the 30th minute.
The Mavericks were able to strike back in the 75th minute off senior
Allie Williams' penalty kick knotting the score at one.
CSP was able to take advantage of a misplay in the defensive zone in the 81st minute to put home the game-winning goal delivering the Mavericks' second loss to the Golden Bears in program history.
