MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team won a total of eight events Saturday afternoon as it bested Sioux Falls 171-122.
The Mavericks now own a 6-1 dual record on the season, while USF falls to 7-5 in dual competition.
MSU picked up its first win of the dual in the 400 medley relay event as the team of sophomore

Olivia Hudoba posted a time of 3:59.06. The Mavericks finished the dual with another relay win as the quartet of junior

Elise Mishmash posted a time of 1:40.20 in the 200 freestyle relay.
Schultz won the 100 breaststroke event with a time of 1:07.51, while junior
Ella DeFever finished first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.08. DeFever also won the 100 freestyle (54.24) event, while Beckman took first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.16.
Senior
Ayla Taylor won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 255.95, while sophomore
Sydney Hanson won the 3-meter diving event with a score of 254.65.
Minnesota State continues its season on the road on Saturday, January 28, as it takes on MSU Moorhead. The dual is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
