Mankato, Minn. --- 19th ranked Minnesota State fell to the Central Oklahoma Bronchos 1-0 ,now coming home with a record of 1-0-1 to start the season.
With both teams finishing with six shots-on-goal, the Mavericks found no answers against UCO freshman goalkeeper, Avery Bass. Scoring the only goal of the game for the Bronchos, junior forward Amaya Grace snuck one by
Mackenzie Rath in the 21st minute.
Following the goal, both teams peppered the nets resulting in a plethora of shots in both direction, eight for the Mavericks and fifteen for UCO. Seven of the eight MSU shots came from the Mavericks Bench as
Jenny Vetter is the lone stater to get a chance at Bass in the Match.
The Minnesota State is back in action next weekend in Allendale, Mo., to take on Grand Valley State.
