Minnesota State resumes action this Friday and Saturday when Alabama Huntsville visits the Key City. In a series that dates back to 1988-89, the Mavericks stand 37-17-7 all-tme vs. the Chargers. Including 4-1 and 5-1 wins back in October, Minnesota State has won the last ten meetings between the two schools. The last win in the series by UAH came during the 2002-03 season and since then the Mavericks have gone 26-0-4 vs. the Chargers.

Dryden McKay, who was named Western Collegiate Hockey Association Goaltender of the Week for the sixth time this year following the home league sweep over Northern Michigan, picked up his eighth shutout of the season by stopping all 22 shots in a 1-0 triumph over the Wildcats Feb. 8. The shutout gives McKay a school-record 12 for his Minnesota State career. For the year, McKay stands 25-3-2 (25 wins leads nation) with a 1.37 goals against average (leads nation), .939 save percentage (ranks second in the nation) and eight shutouts (leads nation). This is the tenth time in his career and sixth time this year that McKay has picked up WCHA Goaltender of the Week award.

Connor Mackey stayed hot offensively by picking up a goal and an assist in the series vs. Northern Michigan two weekends ago. Mackey, who has 5-17--22 in 30 games played this year, has registered 2-8--10 in the last nine games. The Tower Lakes, Ill., native has 16-43--59 with 195 shots on goal, a +44 rating and 86 blocked shots in 112 career games.
