DULUTH, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team saw its season come to an end Saturday evening on the road as it fell to Minnesota Duluth by the score of 4-2.
With the loss, MSU finished its season with a 5-16 overall record, including a 3-8 NSIC record. With the win, UMD improved to 11-4 on the season, including an 8-3 conference record. The Bulldogs will take on the University of Mary in the first round of the NSIC Tournament next weekend.
The Bulldogs claimed the first point of the dual by winning all three of the doubles matches. Senior

Monika Ryan battled Megan Anderson and Elsa Erickson in the No. 1 doubles match, but they fell by the score of 6-4.
Streeter picked up a 6-7 (12-14), 6-0, 6-2 win over Anderson in the No. 1 singles match, while Ryan posted a 6-1, 6-3 win over Erickson in the No. 2 singles match. The Bulldogs were then able to win the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles matches in straight sets to lock down the 4-2 win. The No. 6 singles match went unfinished.
