MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team wrapped up its home schedule Thursday evening with a 166-112 dual victory over the Augustana Vikings.
MSU now owns a 5-0 dual record this season.
The Mavericks took the top finish in both the 200 freestyle and the 200 medley relays. The team of sophomores Anja Enervold, Emily Goodman and Katie Streiff, and senior Maggie Knier posted a time of 1:47.57 in the 200 medley relay, while the quartet of Knier, sophomore Nikki Ault, Enervold and junior Emelia Selky recorded a time of 1:40.58 in the 200 freestyle relay.
Freshman Ayla Taylor won the 3-meter diving event with a score of 232.40 and was followed by senior Jaycie Klein who finished second with a score of 220.75.
Streiff would also go on to win three individual events including the 50 butterfly (26.15), the 100 butterfly (58.77) and the 200 IM (2:12.12). Goodman also won multiple events as she posted times of 30.82 in the 100 breaststroke and 1:07.80 in the 100 breaststroke.
Knier added a first place finish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.46, while Enervold won the 100 backstroke with a time of 59.82. Junior Tori Roth also took first place in the 50 backstroke with a time of 28.06, with Enervold following right behind in second with a time of 28.17.
The Mavericks will return to action on Friday, December 6, as they take part in the three-day Rochester Invite in Rochester, Minn.
