Mankato, Minn. --- The Humminbird Big Bobber Ice Fishing Contest presented by Leinenkugel's is conducted by the Minnesota State Intercollegiate Athletics Department benefiting the Maverick Scholarship Fund and is hosted by Maverick coaches and student-athletes.
Site: The Landing - Madison Lake
Date: Saturday, February 4, 2017
Time: Opens at 10:00 a.m. for registration, hole selection, and set up.
Contest starts at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Prizes are awarded beginning at approximately 3:30 pm.
Tickets: $50 per participant for two holes. $75 per participant for two holes, two drink tickets and three raffle tickets. No refunds will be given. Limited to first 3,000 entrants.
Prizes: Determined by fish weight and time entered. All 50 prizes will be awarded at the event.
Bar Tour: Thursday, Dec. 15th @ 7:00pm – Buster's Bar & Grille. Friday, Jan. 6th – Elyisan, MN. Friday, Jan. 20th – Madison Lake, MN. Friday, Feb. 3 @ 6:00pm – The Landing in Madison Lake (Pre-Party).
Cancellation: In the event of weather cancellation, listen for announcements on The Fan 1230 AM, KTOE 1420 AM or Minnesota 93 FM between 7:30 and 8:00 am, or check www.MSUMavericks.com or www.msumavericks.com/bigbobber. The contest will NOT be rescheduled, and NO contest prizes will be awarded, however the Big Bobber raffles will still take place at the Landing on February 4th, 2017. Raffle winners need not be present to win, and all raffle winners will be posted at www.MSUMavericks.com. Only pre-purchased tickets will be refundable in the event of weather cancellation.
