Minnesota State Most Recently: The Mavericks are coming off a two-game home WCHA sweep over Alabama-Huntsville. MSU claimed a 3-1 win Friday before skating to a 4-1 victory over the Chargers Saturday. Dating back to the 2001-02 season, the Mavericks own a 16-game unbeaten streak (14-0-2) in the series with Alabama-Huntsville.
About Bowling Green: The Falcons, who earned a 2-2 tie and a 5-4 win at Clarkson in a pair of nonconference road games last weekend, are led offensively by sophomore forward Kevin Dufour (8-0--8). Dufour's eight goals lead the nation. Freshman forward Brandon Hawkins (2-4--6) and sophomore forward Pierre-Luc Mercier (1-5--6) are tied for second on the BGSU scoring charts. BGSU, which went 18-15-6 last year has used Tommy Burke (0-1-1, .911, 2.42), Chris Nell (2-0-0, .926, 2.00) and Tomas Sholl (2-0-0, .932, 1.50) between the pipes this year. Head coach Chris Bergeron (Miami '93) is in his fifth year behind the BGSU bench and owns a 61-89-21 record.

The previous mark of 5,201 was established Jan. 30, 2009 in a game vs. Minnesota. The Mavericks are averaging 3,877 fans per home contest in 2014-15.
