Box Score Huntsville, Ala. --- Bolsterd by three power play goals, Minnesota State extended its winning streak to six games with a 4-1 victory at Alabama-Huntsville Friday in a men's Western Collegiate Hockey Association road game.

Dylan Margonari got his fourth goal of this season when he beat UAH netminder Matt Larose at 12:45 of the first period.
The score remained 1-0 in favor of the Mavericks after a scoreless second period, by the host Chargers tied the game at 3:46 of the third period when Jack Prince's rebound shot found its way over the shoulder of Maverick freshman
Cole Huggins. The Mavericks responded shortly thereafter when
Jean-Paul Lafontaine scored his seventh goal of the season with the Mavericks on the power play at 4:33. Senior forward
Zach Lehke extended the lead with his third goal of the season and ninth point in seven games at 7:41. Senior captain
Johnny McInnis closed out the score after he scored on a one-timer from the slot for this sixth goal of the season the MSU's third power play goal of the night.
The Mavericks, who outshot the Chargers 47-24 in the game, converted on three-of-seven power play chances and have now gone 15-of-37 power play chances in the last seven games.
Minnesota State, which got a 23-save performance from Cole Huggins, ups its record to 10-7-0 overall, 8-3-0 WCHA. UAH falls to 1-16-0, 1-10-0.
The two teams close out the two-game league series with a 7:07 p.m. face-off scheduled for Von Braun Center.
