Moorhead, Minn. --- The Minnesota State swimming and diving team split a pair of decisions Saturday afternoon, beating Northern State, 217-69, and losing to MSU Moorhead, 151-147 as it closed out the 2012 portion of its season.
In the 200-yard medley relay, Minnesota State won with a time of 1:50.42. The relay team was made up of sophomore

The Mavericks also won the 400-yard freestyle in 3:36.54 as Smirnova, senior

Individually, senior
Marissa Reeve won the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:12.54) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:19.14), while Blum won the 200-yard freestyle touching in 1:58.05.
Green picked up a pair of victories, winning the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.00 and the 200-yard backstroke in 2:15.30. Smirnova claimed the 100-yard freestyle (:53.30) and the 100-yard butterfly (:58.61).
