With the win, the road to the NSIC tournament championship will go through Mankato beginning with the first round Wednesday at 1 p.m. MSU is unbeaten in 22 consecutive matches at home dating back to 2010.
The Mavericks (15-1-1, 14-0-0 NSIC) will try to finish unbeaten in league play as they head to Fayette, Iowa to take on the Upper Iowa Peacocks Sunday at 1 p.m.
