Box Score St. Cloud, Minn.  --- Junior #Courtney Vallarelli# scored the match’s lone goal to lift the third-ranked Minnesota State women’s soccer team to its tenth consecutive win Sunday afternoon 1-0 over St. Cloud State in Northern Sun Intercollegiate action.
 
Neither team found the net in the first half, but the Mavericks held all the moment heading into the locker room outshooting the Huskies 8-0 in the first 45 minutes. SCSU keeper Kenzie Hanzlik made five saves in the half to keep MSU off the scoreboard.
 
Minnesota State continued to control the action in the second half and broke through in the 77th minute when Vallarelli forced a turnover and burried the goal for her third of the season.
 
Sophomore goalie #Molly McGough# made one save to earn her ninth shutout of the season and 20th of her career tying assistant coach Sheila Reynolds’ school-record.

Minnesota State (12-1-1, 11-0-0 NSIC) will resume NSIC play next Saturday at Southwest Minnesota State with kickoff set for 12 p.m. in Marshall, Minn.
