Box Score Duluth, Minn. --- The third-ranked Minnesota State soccer team extended its winning streak to nine games Friday evening as it earned a 5-1 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory at Minnesota Duluth.

The Bulldogs knotted the game almost six minutes later as
Jennifer Smith scored the only goal of the game for UMD and first MSU has allowed since Sept. 15th.
Sophomore
Sydney Temple found the back of the net in the 34th minute to record her second game-winning goal of the season and third overall.
The Mavericks continued the offensive onslaught as freshman
Korey Kronforst, junior
Courtney Vallarelli and sophomore
Breanna Steele all scored. Sophomore
Emily Moris finished the win with two assists, while Temple and Vallarelli each had a goal an assist.
Sophomore netminder
Molly McGough finished with five saves in the victory, recording her 11th win of the season.
The Mavericks outshot the Bulldogs 21-12 in the match.
Minnesota State (11-1-1, 10-0-0 NSIC) returns to action Sunday as it travels to St. Cloud State. Gametime is set for 1 p.m.
