Box Score Mankato, Minn.— For the second game in a row, Minnesota State junior forward
Brittany Henry scored two goals as the eighth-ranked Mavericks beat Minnesota, Crookston 2-0 Sunday afternoon in Crookston.
On a day with 40 mile per hour winds, Henry put a ball in the upper right corner just over seven minutes into the game. Junior defender

Ashley Sykora earned the assists. The goal marks Henry’s seventh game-winner of the season.
The Stillwater, Minn., native scored her 13
th goal of the season in the 35
th minute of the game as Henry leads the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in points with 31.
The second Henry goal was assisted by
Brianne West and
Tori Meinhardt. Henry booted four of the 12 MSU shots on goal in the game.
Minnesota State goalkeeper
Molly McGough tallied her sixth shutout of the season as the Golden Eagles failed to put a shot on goal. McGough now owns a 0.61 goals against average this season.
The Mavericks (12-1-1, 9-0-0 NSIC) face Winona State (11-2-1, 9-0-0) on Saturday in the battle among unbeatens in the NSIC. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m., start at The Pitch at Gage Towers in Mankato.
