Cedar Falls, Iowa. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team dropped a 161-82 decision to Northern Iowa Friday evening.
MSU senior
Kristin Hayes picked up MSU's lone win in the dual as she won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:59.58.
In the relays, MSU turned in a second-place and fourth-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. The second-place team, which touched in 1:52.90, was comprised of senior
Chelsea Chapman, senior
Heather Schulz, freshman
Ashley Ahn and junior
Megan Pickert. The fourth-place squad finished in 1:56.10 and that team was made up of senior
Adrienne Vida, sophomore
Alyssa Kuffel, freshman
Jami Jordan and freshman Courtney Busch.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, MSU also finished second and fourth as the second-place team touched in 1:43.05. That team was made up of sophomore
Kelsea Smith, freshman
Nora Stauber, Pickert and Hayes. The fourth-place team, which finished in 1:45.64, was made up of freshman
Alyssa Larson, Jordan, Ahn and junior
Jessy Stanton.
On the diving board, junior
Beth Keskey finished second with a score of 201.82 while sophomore
Catherine Mahoney was third with a total of 173.02. Sophomore
Cristen Norman finished fifth with a point total of 151.87. On the three-meter board, Mahoney finished second with a score of 179.70, Norman was third with a score of 155.10 and Keseky was fifth with 147.37.
