On Tap:    Minnesota State (14-16-2 overall, 8-15-1 WCHA) is scheduled for a pair of Western Collegiate Hockey Association home contests this weekend at Verizon Wireless Center (4,832) with top-ranked University of Denver (22-6-4 overall, 16-4-4 WCHA) on the docket.  The Mavericks and the Pioneers square-off in downtown Mankato (4,832) Friday at 7:37 p.m. and Saturday at 7:07 p.m.

About the MSU-DU Series:   Including a pair of games played in Colorado Oct. 30 and 31 (4-3 DU win and 4-4 tie), the Pioneers own a 16-13-5 advantage in the all-time series between the two schools. MSU’s active career scoring leader vs. DU is junior forward Andrew Sackrison (3-3--6 in seven games).
     Head coach Troy Jutting’s career head coaching record vs. DU stands at 9-14-5 (.423).

Mavericks Most Recently:  Minnesota State stands 14-16-2 overall, 8-15-1 WCHA on the year after claiming a home league sweep over Alaska Anchorage last weekend in its most recent action.  MSU won by the scores of 5-2 and 4-3 vs. the Seawolves in Mankato.

Student Tickets Pre-Distribution:  MSU student ticket distribution for the Maverick men’s hockey home games with the University of Denver is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Distribution of the 1100 MSU student tickets (valid current Mavcard required) will take place in the Taylor Center Hall of Champions beginning at noon.

Game Promotions:   Friday - Sodexo Sponsorship Night - (1 seating section will receive a Chick-Fil-A sandwich). Saturday - Senior Night.
